Dancing Like a Kid Again!

It’s pretty rare that you ENCOURAGE 5 years olds to run around and yell… but that’s exactly what I’ll be doing tonight! I’m coaching Kindergarden -1st grade cheerleading πŸ™‚ I’ve coached 4th, 5th, and 6th grade before, but I’ve never done it with the little ones, so it should be interesting. Wish me luck!

Flashback to High School Cheerleading Days

That’s me, in the middle. The other two girls are now both married!

I love kids & I love jumping around, so I’m pretty excited to get back into cheerleading πŸ˜‰

If I get out of cheerleading practice in time, I’m going to go to Body Jam tonight. (Gotta stick to those resolutions!) but I have a feeling the class is going to fill out fast!

Despite starting off the day by spilling an entire pot of coffee all over the floor (instant coffee to the resuce!) I think today is going to be a good day πŸ™‚

How did your day start?

  1. Good luck with the kiddos!! I teach jr highers for my church, so I know kids can be a handful at times!
My day started with me waking up at 330, and being FULLY awake! I could NOT go back to sleep. Its going to be a long day….

  2. I woke up earlier than I wanted and couldn’t go back to sleep, made some coffee, only to find that the roommate’s boyfriend drank most of it while I was reading blogs! Grrrrrr πŸ™‚

  3. I started off my day three times, with each time my boyfriend (sucessfully) persuading me to stay in bed – I didn’t get moving till noon! I need to start sleeping on the couch if I want to get things done lol πŸ™‚

  4. Have fun at Body Jam. I used to go to that class all of the time at my gym. It was so much fun! But, now, they don’t have it anymore. Just zumba. 😦
